Let’s build a future.
Why Planned Giving
FPC depends on its members and friends to support everything that happens at church – from facilities upkeep, to payroll, to the Church’s dynamic and wide-reaching ministries and programs.
Bequests and special gifts can increase or supplement your support. They leave a legacy beyond routine giving, and will strengthen FPC for generations.
There are many ways to include the Church in your estate plan.
There are many other ways to give beyond regular pledges or donations. This brochure describes just a few possibilities. We would love to discuss ways that might let you increase the impact of your giving.
Specific Ways to Give
Bequests support FPC’s endowment, and can fund major expenses. Please consider including FPC in your estate plans. We can discuss your plans and preferences. Your gifts will help ensure the church’s financial health for generations to come.
Give in Honor or Memory of a Friend or Family Member
A gift to FPC is a great way to celebrate an event or person. Just let us know whom you would like to honor when you donate.
Donate appreciated investments
If you have stock, mutual fund shares, or other investments that have increased in value, your financial institution can transfer the assets directly to our brokerage account. This typically will avoid capital gains taxes while allowing you a tax deduction for the full value of the donated assets. Talk to your advisor about your own financial situation and to us about how to arrange a transfer. It is easy!
Ask your employer if it will match the gifts you make to FPC.
