Kundalini Yoga every second Saturday

  Yoga- Registration

Second Saturday of the month from 11am-12:30pm we will explore two powerful kriyas (yoga sets) together ✨

We’ll begin with a short warm-up to gently open the body and prepare for practice.

Then, we’ll move into Kriya for Keep Up Spirit. A 45-minute set with 13 movements designed to uplift your mood, create a sense of calm and peace, and strengthen your ability to support and uplift others.

Following that we will continue with The Basic Breath Series, a 22–25 minute practice that helps boost energy, improve focus, and restore balance. It’s especially great for beginners, as it builds awareness of how your breath directly affects your thoughts, emotions, and overall state.

A note on breath:

Breathing may be automatic, but conscious breathing is a skill. As you begin to guide your breath, you start to shift old patterns in the mind and body. You may notice your attention drifting at first—that’s completely normal. Stay with it. Over time, you’ll develop a deeper sense of ease, clarity, and control.

In this practice we do alternate nostril breathing to explore how breathing through each nostril affects you differently:

🌿 Left nostril breathing is calming and cooling. It’s linked to the right side of the brain and supports relaxation, intuition, and emotional balance.

🔥 Right nostril breathing is energizing and warming. It’s connected to the left side of the brain and supports focus, alertness, and mental activity.

At any given time, one nostril tends to be more active than the other, naturally switching every 90–150 minutes. By becoming aware of this rhythm—and learning to work with it—you can better regulate your energy, mood, and state of mind.

Come breathe, reset, and reconnect 💫

Please arrive 10 min before 11 to get set up so we can start on time and bring water and a light covering for shavasana..

See you Saturday.
